HOST YOUR WEBSITE FOR FREE

after finishing coding your website you want to publish it on the internet. to do that you have to host it with hosting services, unfortunately, hosting services is not free and sometimes it costs a lot. of course, if you want to publish your business website that can make money I think it worth it to invest, but sometimes you want to host a personal website that doesn't make money, and it's not a good idea to pay expansive services for that kind of websites. hopefully, there is a free solution that will allow you to host your personal website for free, this solution is called 000webhost.com.

how to use 000webhost

to host our website, it's simple, we go to 000webhost.com and sign up for free.

after the website open we press sign up for free

as you can see there are so many options, you can use facebook, google or just sign up using your email, after choosing the best option for you can enter to your account.

when you sing up another page will appear, you have to choose your website name and your password

  after taping the name and the password press next and another page will open and it will ask you to choose the method.

 as you can see there are many methods, you can choose the method that you want, for this tutorial we will choose " upload your existing website " method.

after choosing our method, this page should appear.

 as you can see we already have a website but you can also create a new website and it will host it for free.

now we click on the card that contains our website's name and we click on manage website.

another window will appear and choose upload ow website.

after choosing that option you will see that another tab will appear, and it look like this.

this is page is our file manager, on this page we will put our web project files. of course, you can put a static HTML page and you can also put any kind of web project like PHP, ReactJS, NodeJS ...

we copy and paste our files inside the public_html folder.

PS: you will see the .htaccess file inside that folder, this file is so important so don't delete it or modify it. I will explain to you the utility of this file in another tutorial because it will take much time to explain.

now I will just upload a simple HTML page that I made.

I drag my files into the webpage and the upload dialog will appear.

as you can see these are our files. and we press the upload button

we wait till our files upload and then we will see all our files inside the folder like this.

now our web site is uploaded and ready to use, to confirm that. just return to the main page
and press the website link.

and that's it our web site is hosted and you can share the links with your friends.

before we finish our tutorial, I want to tell you that you can also manage your database using 000webhost but I didn't explain it in this tutorial because it will take much time to explain, I will try to make another tutorial where I explain how to upload a full PHP  with its database website using 000webhost.
